A tape casting machine is a specialized piece of equipment used for producing cast films. Using a high-precision electronic ceramic tape casting machine, with alumina as the main raw material for ceramic tape casting, the process begins by mixing finely ground powder with binders, plasticizers, dispersants, and solvents to form a slurry with a certain viscosity. The slurry flows from the hopper and is spread by a doctor blade at a controlled thickness onto a specialized carrier film. After drying and curing, it is peeled off from the carrier to form a green tape (ceramic green sheet). The green tape is then subjected to punching, laminating, and other processing steps according to the final product’s dimensions and shape requirements, producing a finished blank ready for sintering. This process offers advantages such as low cost, high quality, non-toxicity, and a simple production process.
